From the Beginning

About us

“Cooking for someone is taking care of somebody else happiness”

How it started

Matteo - Max - Stefano.

Met together in 1999 behind school desks at culinary college "Aurelio Saffi" in Florence, after graduation in 2004 they had professional experiences all over Italy and abroad.

From 2012 until 2019 they are the owners of "Touch Bistrò Toscano" restaurant as well of the cooking school The Cooking Touch, that offer private culinary experiences in which each recipe keep the traditional Tuscan roots while reinventing the dish with “a touch” of creativity.

The philosophy is to enhance the quality of the seasonal ingredients, take care of every guest with a deep passion and consciousness that exemplifies “Cooking for someone is to granting them happiness”.

How is going

They started to host private cooking classes in 2012 for lunch session inside the professional kitchen of the restaurant.

Soon they realized that during the cooking experiences they had the opportunity to share Italian food culture with guests from all over the world : from selecting the finest local ingredients to mastering traditional recipes, they create memorable moments for food enthusiasts seeking an authentic taste of Tuscany.

In 2018 they got a second stunning location with marvelous view on the Ponte Vecchio, the family now is getting bigger as much the love for authentic Italian experience!

A stunning panoramic view on the Ponte Vecchio, just a few meters out of your reach, so close you will feel like you can almost touch it!

CLUB

Spend a day learning how to cook like a true Florentine – from the market to the table.  Live a private restaurant cooking experience and learn how to cook with the support of an expert Italian chef inside a professional kitchen: prepare classic Italian and Florentine dishes with your ingredients, as you learn some of the tips and tricks that make Italian cuisine so delicious. Your cooking experience will end at the table, where you’ll enjoy your creations.
